ਅੱਜ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਮੋਰਚਾ (ਭਾਰਤ), ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਗੈਰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਫ਼ਦ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਟੜਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਤਹਿ ਹੋਈ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ 1 ਅਤੇ 2 ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਵਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ 10 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਈ ਪਾਲਿਸੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਚਰਚਾ ਇਸਤੇ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਕੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ 15 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਸੰਭੂ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੁਆਵਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਲਦ ਆਡਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਰਤ ਮਾਲਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਬਣ ਰਹੀਆ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਮੀਨ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੁਆਵਜਾ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਲੈਣ ਤੇ ਰੋਕ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਤਸੱਲੀਯੋਗ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਮੀਨਾ ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਮੀਟਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਜਬਰੀ ਚਿਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਪੇਡ ਮੀਟਰ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਫ ਹੱਥ ਖੜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜ਼ੋ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਾਫ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਮੀਟਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਣ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਦੋਨੋ ਫੋਰਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿਢੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੰਡੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ, ਆੜ੍ਹਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਹੱਲ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਬੰਦ ਪਈ ਖਰੀਦ ਮੁੜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਵਾਓਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਇਸਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਫ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਗਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਫੋਰਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਲੋਕਲ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਬਾਸਮਤੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਐਂਟਰ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਸਮਤੀ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਤਜ਼ਵੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਹਿਰਦਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਨਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਫੇਲ ਹੈ। ਡੀ ਏ ਪੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਨਾ ਆਉਣ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਵਾਰਾ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਸਾੜਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਰੈੱਡ ਇੰਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਚਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਮਸਲਾ ਹੱਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਲਈ ਐਨ ਜੀ ਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਚੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੰਨਾ ਉਤਪਾਦਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਦੁਆਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਗਈ, ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਧੂਰੀ ਗੰਨਾ ਮਿੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਅਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਜਤਾਈ ਗਈ, ਪਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਿੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬਧਿਤ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਚਣ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੂਲ, ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੌਂਗੋਵਾਲ, ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਨੀ, ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੰਗੂ, ਸੁਖਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰਦੋ ਝੰਡੇ, ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧਵਾਂ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲੇਰ ਬਾਲਾ, ਕੰਵਰਦਲੀਪ ਸੈਦੋਲੇਹਲ, ਕੰਧਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਏਵਾਲ, ਮੰਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧਵਾਂ, ਫਤਹਿ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਿੱਦੀ, ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and Farmer Unions Meet Principal Secretary in Chandigarh
In Chandigarh today, a delegation from Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (India), the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political), and the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Punjab held a crucial meeting with the Principal Secretary of Punjab, led by senior farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Kaka Singh Kotra.
The leaders informed the media that the meeting focused on several pressing issues, including compensation for families of martyrs from the previous Delhi farmers’ protests and a demand for ₹10 lakh in compensation for families of farmers and laborers who have lost their lives during the ongoing struggles. They also sought a permanent policy to provide government jobs to one family member of each deceased.
The administration assured that discussions with the Punjab government would yield positive results, with announcements expected after the upcoming Panchayat elections on the 15th. Additionally, they promised swift action on compensation for injured farmers and other facilities upon their return from the morcha.
Concerns were raised regarding compensation for landowners under the Bharat Mala scheme, where the administration failed to provide satisfactory responses about halting land acquisition before full compensation. The unions stressed their commitment to protecting farmers’ rights and ensuring no forced acquisition occurs.
The meeting also addressed demands to halt the installation of pre-paid meters that come with mandatory chips, to which the administration stated that it would be enforced as government policy. The leaders made it clear that these meters should not be installed through coercion, warning of intensified protests if any such measures are taken.
Further, the delegation called for a swift resolution to the strike by laborers, traders, and arhtiyas (commission agents) in Mandi, emphasizing the need to restart the purchase of paddy.
Regarding Basmati procurement, the administration indicated that the Punjab government is set to consider establishing a Basmati Corporation. The leaders criticized the government’s failure to address issues related to drug abuse, indicating that no substantial responses were provided.
The administration assured that there would be no complications related to the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for sugarcane producers. A high-level committee was promised to address the issue of stray animals.
On the issue of stubble burning, the government was reminded that resolutions must follow the recommendations of the NGTS rather than simply issuing notices. The unions pledged to stand with farmers in facing any legal challenges over stubble burning.
In response to delays in payments to sugarcane producers, the administration promised prompt action, but the unions made it clear that no sale of properties related to mills would be allowed.
