ਅੱਜ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋ 35 ਪ੍ਰਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਲਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਰਨਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਲੋ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਿੰਡ ਘਰ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਮ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੋਮਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ 35 ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣੇ । ਭੋਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਿੰਡ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ” ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਡਾਊ ਪੁੱਤ ਬਚਾਊ ” ਲਹਿਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਲਕਾ ਤੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਲੋਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ 03 ਅਗਸਤ 2022 ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਧਰਮ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਲ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ । ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਅਸੀਂ 800 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਜੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਚਨ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਟਾਰੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਅੱਜ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ 35 ਪ੍ਰਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਗਰੁੱਪਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਬੱਚੇ ਬੱਚੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਵਾਇਆਂ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ । ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਉਹਨਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਕੇ ਰਹੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਗਵਾਈਏ।ਹਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਬੱਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਕੇਸਾਧਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਤ ਸੂਰਤ ਬੱਚਾ ਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦਸਤਾਰ ਸਜਾਵੇ ।ਜਿਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੰਡੇ ਬਾਟੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਹੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਕੀ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛੱਕ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ।
Today, the Sikh Missionary Committee Punjab, under the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, administered Amrit to 35 individuals at Akal Takht Sahib. Chairman Manjit Singh Bhoma shared that under the leadership of DSGMC President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlo, the Sikh Missionary Committee has been spreading religious awareness across Punjab. Inspired by Chairman Bhoma, 35 individuals embraced Sikhism by taking Amrit today.
Bhoma mentioned that teams of Sikh preachers are visiting villages, spreading Sikh teachings and also motivating the youth to stay away from drugs under the “Nasha Chhudo Putt Bachao” campaign. He added that on August 3, 2022, DSGMC President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlo expressed concerns about religious conversions in Punjab and formed the Sikh Missionary Committee to address this issue. As a result, over 800 families who had converted to Christianity have returned to Sikhism.
In addition to this, the committee has conducted seminars in every school in the Attari constituency and Amritsar, educating children about the dangers of drugs, deaths caused by addiction, and the financial losses associated with substance abuse. Today, once again, 35 individuals were administered Amrit, and Bhoma noted that previous groups of Sikh youth have also taken this step, considering it a significant achievement.
He urged the youth of Punjab to remain steadfast in their faith, maintain their Sikh identity, and adorn their turbans. He encouraged those who have not yet partaken in the Khande di Pahul (Amrit Sanchar) to do so soon and receive the blessings of the Guru.
