ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ 18 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ (ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲਸਾ):- ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਰੇਵਾੜੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਸਥਿਤ ਸਿੱਖ ਫਾਰ ਜਸਟਿਸ (ਐਸਐਫਜੇ) ਦੇ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗੁਰਪਤਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਫੈਡਰਲ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਆਫ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਯਾਦਵ ਦਾ ਮੋਸਟ ਵਾਂਟੇਡ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ 3 ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਫੋਟੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਵਰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹੈ। 39 ਸਾਲਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਯਾਦਵ ਰੇਵਾੜੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਪੁਰਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਯਾਦਵ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਐਂਡ ਐਨਾਲਿਸਿਸ ਵਿੰਗ (ਰਾਅ) ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਅ ਨੇ ਪੰਨੂ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਚੀ ਸੀ। ਵਿਕਾਸ ‘ਤੇ ਕਤਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਾਏ ‘ਤੇ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਚਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਨੂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦਾ ਵਕੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰਚੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਅਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ।
ਐਫਬੀਆਈ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੋਸਟ ਵਾਂਟੇਡ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਯਾਦਵ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਵਕੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਚਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਾਦਵ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਹਿ-ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਕਰਤਾ, ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ‘ਅਮਾਨਤ’ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਨੂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਪਤੇ, ਫੋਨ ਨੰਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਛਾਣ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਯਾਦਵ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਹਿ-ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਕਰਤਾ ਨੇ ਕਤਲ ਲਈ ਪੇਸ਼ਗੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਵਜੋਂ 15,000 ਡਾਲਰ ਦੀ ਨਕਦੀ ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। 10 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 2024 ਨੂੰ, ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਦਵ ਦੇ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਘੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਵਾਰੰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਲਈ ਕਿਰਾਏ ‘ਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਫਲ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
New Delhi, October 18 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa): The U.S. government has claimed that a young man from Rewari, Haryana, is involved in a conspiracy to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the New York-based terrorist of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a “Most Wanted” poster for Vikas Yadav, featuring three photographs, including one of him in military uniform.
Vikas Yadav, 39, hails from Pranpura village in Rewari district. The U.S. government claims that Yadav works for India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), and was involved in plotting Pannu’s assassination. He is accused of conspiring to hire an individual for murder and money laundering. The U.S. alleges that the plot was orchestrated during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the U.S. but was thwarted in time.
According to the FBI’s “Most Wanted” poster, Yadav is wanted for allegedly conspiring to kill an Indian-American lawyer and political activist on U.S. soil. The poster claims that Yadav, a resident of India, used the alias “Amanat” while discussing the plot with his co-conspirator.
The charges state that Yadav provided Pannu’s residential address, phone number, and other identifying information to further the assassination plot. He and his co-conspirator arranged for a cash payment of $15,000 as a down payment for the murder. On October 10, 2024, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for Yadav’s arrest, following which he was charged with attempted murder-for-hire and money laundering.
