ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ, ਟਰੂਡੋ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਲੀਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਵੰਡਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਚੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਤ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ।
ਇਥੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਲੀਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਵੰਡਣ ਦੇ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ’ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ’ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਾ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹਿੰਦੂ-ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਛਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਜਮ ਵਰਤਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਦੌਰ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੋਣ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਇਕ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤਹਿਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਬੇਪਰਦ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਿਪਲੋਮੈਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤੀ-ਕੈਨੇਡੀਆਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸੁਲਾਹ ਸਫਾਈ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸੰਜੀਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਯਤਨ ਕਰੇ।
Akali Dal Condemns Canada Incident, Appeals for Protection of Religious Sites and Safety of Indian-Origin Citizens
Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal’s Executive President, Balwinder Singh Bhundar, condemned recent violent incidents outside religious sites in Canada, urging Indian-origin communities to resist divisive conspiracies. He also called on the Canadian government to ensure the security of all religious sites on Canadian soil.
In a statement, Bhundar highlighted attempts to create divisions between Sikh and Hindu communities in Canada, noting that Sikh teachings emphasize “Sarbat da Bhala” (welfare for all). He reaffirmed Akali Dal’s commitment to communal harmony and acknowledged the party’s historic sacrifices for this cause. Bhundar further urged both communities in Canada to recognize their shared heritage and work together to maintain peace.
He appealed to the Canadian government to ensure the safety of all Indian-origin citizens and their places of worship, emphasizing that everyone deserves safe access to religious sites. The Akali Dal leader also encouraged the Canadian government to investigate and expose the potential conspiracy behind these incidents.
Additionally, Bhundar urged the Canadian government to ensure the safety of Indian diplomats on Canadian soil and called on the Indian government to take necessary steps to protect Indian-Canadians and promote reconciliation between the communities.
