“ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਹੜੇ 233 ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਦਲੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ?”
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ 233 ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਪੀਐਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ’ ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕਦਮਬੰਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤਰੀਨ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ‘ਪੀਐਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ’ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਅਧੀਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 14,500 ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ। ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਦੇ 10 ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਖ਼ਾਸ
ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚਾ, 21ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਉਚਿਤ ਸਾਧਨ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ, ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਣਯੋਗ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਨਵੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਨੀਤੀ ਤਹਿਤ, ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਦਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਗਾਮੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾ ਸਕਣ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ‘ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕਾਂ’ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
Chandigarh: The Punjab government is preparing to rename certain government schools, following the Government of India’s recent designation of 233 schools in Punjab as “PM SHRI” schools. Among these, 10 schools are located in Mohali district. Under the Central Government’s PM SHRI School Scheme, a total of 14,500 PM SHRI schools are set to be established across India. These schools aim to provide world-class education, overseen by not only the Central Government but also state governments, local entities, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), and the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).
Schools Receiving PM SHRI Status
According to a notification issued by Kamal Kishore Yadav, Secretary of the Punjab School Education Department, several schools in Mohali city and district have been granted the PM SHRI designation, including Government High School in Phase 5, Government Senior Secondary School in Lohgarh, Government High School in Naya Gaon, and others in locations such as Saneta, Khizrabad, Lalru, Desu Majra, Sohana, Samgouli, and Mubarakpur.
High-Quality Learning Environment
The purpose of establishing these PM SHRI schools is to provide every student with a high-standard, safe, and innovative learning environment. These schools will feature advanced infrastructure and resources to support 21st-century skill development, aiming to make students productive, innovative, and valuable contributors. This initiative aligns with the New Education Policy of 2020, which promotes equal educational opportunities for all sectors of society, eliminating any chance of discrimination. Students will be encouraged to explore new perspectives and collaborate in a nurturing atmosphere.
Additionally, the Punjab government is planning to work with the central government to rename Aam Aadmi Party-run Mohalla Clinics, and various agreements between the central government and AAP regarding the Ayushman Bharat scheme have also been reported.
