ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ, ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਲਈ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਮਿਲੀ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ‘ਚ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ-ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਮਿਲਣ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਗਏ। ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ ਤਿੰਨ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਭਾਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ
ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 11 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਲਈ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਭਾਈ ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਰਘਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ, ਅਤੇ ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ
ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਜੁਟ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਮਿੱਥ ਕੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸੀ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਕੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ।” ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਜਜਬਾਤ
ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਮੌਕੇ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਸਨ। ਇਕ ਭਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਸ਼ੱਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਅਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਰਸਮਾਂ
ਜਨਵਰੀ 2022 ‘ਚ, ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸੇ ਅਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਸੰਗਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼
ਭਾਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਮੌਕੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਜੁਟ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
Balwant Singh Rajoana, convicted in the assassination case of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, was released on parole from Patiala Jail after being granted permission by the Punjab-Haryana High Court. He was allowed parole for only three hours to attend the bhog ceremony of his brother.
Rajoana Reaches Village Amid Tight Security
Rajoana was released from jail from 11 AM to 2 PM. Following the demise of his brother Kulwant Singh Rajoana, a bhog ceremony and final prayers were held in the village. The occasion saw the presence of prominent figures, including Akal Takht Jathedar Raghbir Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia, and SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami.
Address to the Community
In his address to the congregation, Rajoana urged the Sikh community to unite, stating, “The injustices against us are deliberate. Sikhs must set aside internal conflicts and strengthen our institutions. If the Akali Dal had not existed, I might not have been here today.” He also recalled the atrocities committed against Sikhs by the Delhi government.
Family’s Sentiments
During the ceremony, Rajoana’s family expressed their emotions, stating that he has always been their strength. “One brother always needs the other. We have endured many hardships, but Rajoana’s support has kept our morale high,” they said.
Previous Parole for Ceremonial Participation
In January 2022, Rajoana was granted parole to attend the bhog ceremony of his late father. Based on this precedent, he had requested temporary parole for his brother’s final prayers, which was approved.
A Message of Struggle and Solidarity
Amid tight security, Rajoana’s visit to the village and his interaction with the congregation emphasized the need for unity among Sikhs and the protection of their religious institutions. He called upon the community to rise above divisions and work collectively for the greater good.
