ਚੌਕ ਮਹਿਤਾ / ਰੀਵਰਸਾਈਡ (ਕੈਲੇਫੋਰਨੀਆ) ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੰਤ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਥ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਡਲ ਨਾਲ਼ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ’ਚ ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਸੰਤ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਰੀਵਰਸਾਈਡ ਕੈਲੇਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ. ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੋਢੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ੋਕਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਕ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ. ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੰਥ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਦੇਣ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ, ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਰ ਖੇਤਰ ‘ਚ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸੰਤ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਹਿਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਰੋਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ’ਚ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਗੈਲਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਕਾਰਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਸੰਤ ਹਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਲੜ ਲਾਇਆ। ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਨੇ ਪਾਠ ਬੋਧ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਰਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਲਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ’ਚ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਂਝੀਵਾਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਪੇਸ਼ ਚੁਨੌਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੂਝ ਬੂਝ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ਼ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਫੇਰੀ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ’ਤੇ ਲਾਸ ਏਂਜਲਸ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਕੋਨੇ ਕੋਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ’ਚ ਆਈਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ, ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਮੌਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਸਰੋਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਗਰਮਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਵਾਂ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
Damdami Taksal Chief Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa Honored with Gold Medal by Sikh Congregations in America
Chowk Mehta/Riverside (California): Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa, chief of Damdami Taksal and president of Sant Samaj, was honored with a gold medal by Sikh congregations in America for his dedicated services to the Panth.
During his visit to America for religious preaching, this honor was bestowed upon him at Gurdwara Riverside, California, by the chairman of the Gurdwara Management Committee, S. Paramjit Singh, and president Sodhi Singh Shokar, during a religious ceremony. S. Paramjit Singh praised the contributions of Damdami Taksal, highlighting its significant role in propagating Gurbani, preserving historical shrines, and serving the Panth.
He further commended Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa for prioritizing Panthic interests, spreading the teachings of Gurbani, and undertaking major initiatives such as establishing Shaheedi memorials and galleries. He added that Sant Harnam Singh Khalsa has inspired countless individuals to take Amrit and dedicate themselves to the Guru’s path, playing a pivotal role in uniting the Sangat with Gurbani principles through Path Bodh programs.
In light of current political and social challenges, both domestically and internationally, Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa has been guiding the Sikh community with wisdom and foresight, addressing their concerns and offering solutions.
The event was attended by prominent personalities, including Panthic Kathavachak Giani Bhai Pinderpal Singh, Baba Banta Singh Ji (Munda Pind Wale), Baba Dharam Singh Ji, Bhai Jhumman Singh, Bhai Akvinder Singh, Bhai Gurpreet Singh (Secretary), Bhai Surinderpal Singh (Former Chairman), Joy Sandhu, Tajinder Singh, Dalbir Singh, Preetam Singh, Gagan Sangha, Gurpreet Singh Shokar, Sant Anoop Singh (Une Wale), Bhai Lakhwinder Singh, Bhai Sukhdeep Singh (Son-in-law of Shaheed Bhai Manbir Singh Chaheru), Bhai Dalbir Singh (Toronto), and Bhai Maha Singh (Toronto), among others.
Earlier, upon his arrival in the United States for a preaching tour, Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa was warmly received at Los Angeles Airport by a large gathering of Sikh congregations, representatives of various prominent Gurdwaras, and distinguished Sikh personalities. He was honored with Guru Sahib’s blessings, Saropas, and garlands as a mark of respect and enthusiasm.
