ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ, 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ (ਗੁਰਜੰਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਥੇਹਾ)- ਅਕਾਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ‘ਮੌਦਰਿਕ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੀ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ: ਸਿਧਾਂਤ, ਅਭਿਆਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਭਰਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ’ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ‘ਤੇ ਵੈਬੀਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਫਲ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਡਾ. ਆਕਿਬ ਮੁਜਤਬਾ, ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਅਰਥ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਗਤੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਡਾ. ਮੁਜਤਬਾ ਨੇ ਵੈਬੀਨਾਰ ਦੀ ਥੀਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਚਰਚਾ ਲਈ ਮੰਚਕ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡਾ. ਪਰਵੀਨ ਰਾਣੀ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਥ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਣ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਇਸ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਬੁਨਿਆਦ, ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਉਲਝਣਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਪੇਸ਼ ਉਭਰਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਦਰਾ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸਸ਼ੀਲ ਲੈਂਡਸਕੇਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਤਨਵੀਰ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਖਾਨ (ਆਈ.ਈ.ਐਸ.), ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਨ। ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਤਜ਼ਰਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਮੁਦਰਾ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਸ਼ਲਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਮਿਸਟਰ ਖਾਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਰੁਖ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਬਾਂ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਵੈਬੀਨਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ। ਸਪੀਕਰ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਇਆ। ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਾ. ਪਰਵੀਨ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਵੈਬੀਨਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
Talwandi Sabo, 30 September (Gurjant Singh Nathaehan) – A successful webinar was organized by the Department of Economics at Akal University on the topic “The Dynamics of Monetary Policy: Principles, Practices, and Emerging Challenges.” Faculty, students, and subject experts participated in the event. The session commenced with welcoming words from Dr. Aqib Mujataba, Assistant Professor of the Economics Department, who played a key role as the event organizer. Dr. Mujataba introduced the theme of the webinar and created an engaging and educational atmosphere for discussion.
Dr. Parveen Rani, Assistant Professor and Head of the Economics Department, introduced the guest speaker. This session provided valuable insights into the theoretical foundation of the subject, practical dilemmas, and the emerging challenges faced by the country, focusing on the evolving landscape of monetary policy in India.
The expert speaker was Mr. Tanveer Ahmad Khan (I.E.S.), Assistant Director at the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. With his extensive experience and deep knowledge of economic policy, Mr. Khan effectively presented the key aspects of monetary policy, providing information on both theoretical frameworks and current policies in India. Following Mr. Khan’s lecture, the session shifted to a question-and-answer segment, which proved to be one of the most important parts of the webinar. The speaker clarified each question, benefiting all participants intellectually.
In her concluding remarks, Dr. Parveen Rani thanked the speakers, students, and organizers for making the webinar a success.
