ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਦੌਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਬੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਉਹ ਅਟਾਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਰੀ-ਟਰੀਟ ਸੈਰਾਮਨੀ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੀਐਸਐਫ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਪਰੇਡ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਬਲ ਏ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲਈ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਥਾਪੜੀ।
ਪਰਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਵਾਂ ਹਲ
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਸਾੜਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਸਾੜਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਖਤੀ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਬਦਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਨਅਤ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲਣ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਚਾ ਮਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਸੈਸ ਕਰੇ।
ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਮਗਲਿੰਗ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੁਛੇ ਜਾਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਥ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅੱਗੇ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੀਐਸਐਫ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਤਤਪਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰੋਨ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਵੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਲਗਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਲ ਦਾ ਉਤਪਾਦ ਬਣਾ ਸਕੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੋ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕੁਛ ਹੋਰ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ।

Solution to Stubble Burning Issue
While talking to the media, Governor Kataria spoke about the issue of stubble burning and said that to stop farmers from burning stubble, strictness alone will not work; instead, there is a need for a change in mindset. He suggested the development of industries that can utilize stubble as fuel or process it further into raw material.
Narcotics Smuggling from Across the Border
When asked about the issue of drug smuggling from across the border, Kataria replied that narcotics, which are now reaching easily through drones, need to be stopped with the support of the public. He emphasized that he is working to garner this support. He also appreciated the BSF, which is always ready to safeguard the country’s security. He acknowledged that many drone operations had been conducted by the BSF, leading to the seizure of several drones and large quantities of heroin.
He further mentioned that there is a need for more factories to process stubble, where other products like oil can be produced and used in various industries. Kataria emphasized that the people of Punjab are known for their bravery, and if the state’s environment is deteriorating, collective efforts must be made to take corrective actions.
