ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਫੇਰੀ ’ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਰਾਤ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਦੀ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਧੀ ’ਤੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੇ। ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ’ਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋਈ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਲੂਣ ਛਿੜਕਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ’ਤੇ ਟੈਂਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੋਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਦੀ ਟਾਈਮਿੰਗ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੋਹੀਨਜਨਕ ਹਨ।
ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਜੋ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜਨਤਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਟੰਟ ਕੀਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।”
ਬਿੱਟੂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵਾਂ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu raised questions about Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Darbar Sahib, alleging it was politically motivated. In a viral social media video, Bittu stated that after visiting Darbar Sahib last night, Rahul Gandhi directly went to pay tribute at the memorial of his grandmother, Indira Gandhi. He pointed out that this act was timed with Indira Gandhi’s birth anniversary, the same Indira Gandhi who ordered tanks and artillery attacks on Darbar Sahib.
Bittu accused the Gandhi family of trying to sprinkle salt on the wounds of the Sikh community through such actions. He questioned the intentions behind the visit and called it disrespectful to Sikh sentiments.
The minister also addressed those Sikh leaders and Punjabis who support Rahul Gandhi, asking them to clarify their stance. He remarked, “The public should judge what Rahul Gandhi has done for the Sikh community. Such stunts need to be explained.”
Bittu’s comments have stirred fresh controversy, sparking reactions from various political quarters.
