ਜਲੰਧਰ – ਜਲੰਧਰ ‘ਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਸੰਘਰਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਵੇਦਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ 3 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ‘ਚ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੋ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਈ ‘ਰੇਲ ਰੋਕੋ’ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਏਗਾ। ਇਸ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਰੇਲਵਾਂ 12:30 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ 2:30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਰੋਕੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਰਾਲੀ ਸਾੜਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਾਧਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਆਰੋਪ ਲਗਾਏ। ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ 28 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ, ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 22 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਵਿੱਢਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਖੀਮਪੁਰ ਖੇੜੀ ਕਾਂਡ ‘ਚ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ।
ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਦੀਆਂ 12 ਮੰਗਾਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਮਐਸਪੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਦਦ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।
Farmers’ Struggle Committee Leader Sarwan Singh Pandher Targets Government in Press Conference
Jalandhar – Sarwan Singh Pandher, a leader of the Farmers’ Struggle Committee, held a press conference in Jalandhar where he firmly criticized the government and presented his demands. He urged the government to take immediate action on these issues.
Pandher announced that from October 3, farmers across the country will launch a ‘Rail Roko’ protest for two hours. During this agitation, trains will be halted from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
He targeted both the central and Punjab governments regarding the issue of stubble burning, levelling serious accusations against them. Pandher stated that the press conference serves as a warning to the Punjab government, demanding the immediate release of their outstanding payment of ₹28 crore, failing which they would take strict measures.
He mentioned that this protest will be spread across 22 districts of Punjab and that similar agitations are gaining momentum in neighboring states. Pandher also highlighted that farmers have not received justice in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, as a BJP leader’s son was involved.
Pandher emphasized that their movement has 12 demands, including the Minimum Support Price (MSP) among other issues. He called upon the government to address these demands swiftly to assist the farmers.
