ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ ਏਜੰਸੀ (ਐਨਆਈਏ) ਨੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਸਾਥੀ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਐਨਆਈਏ ਨੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ, ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਚਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਟ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ
ਐਨਆਈਏ ਦੀ ਚਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਦਾ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਸਿੰਡੀਕੇਟ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਧਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ 1990 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਇਬਰਾਹਿਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਬਨਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਛੋਟੇ-ਮੋਟੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਕੇ, ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ, ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਟਾਰਗੇਟ ਕਿਲਿੰਗ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗੈਂਗ ਦੇ 700 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ੂਟਰ
ਐਨਆਈਏ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਦੇ ਗੈਂਗ ਵਿੱਚ 700 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ੂਟਰ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ 300 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਗੈਂਗ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ, ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਟਿਊਬ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗੈਂਗ 2020-21 ਵਿਚ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਮਾਂ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਦੇ 11 ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ 6 ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਸਾਰ
ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗੈਂਗ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੱਕ ਸੀਮਿਤ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ, ਦਿੱਲੀ, ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ, ਗੈਂਗ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ, ਅਜ਼ਰਬਾਈਜਾਨ, ਪੁਰਤਗਾਲ, ਯੂਏਈ ਅਤੇ ਰੂਸ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਹੈ।

ਐਨਆਈਏ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗੈਂਗ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਝਾਂਸਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਗੈਂਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਿੰਦਾ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ‘ਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੂਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਾਰਗੇਟ ਕਿਲਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਐਨਆਈਏ ਨੇ 16 ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਚਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਟ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its action against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his close associate Goldy Brar. NIA has filed a charge sheet against the infamous duo, along with several other gangsters, in connection with terrorist activities linked to organized crime.

According to the charge sheet, Bishnoi’s terror syndicate has spread in a similar manner to how Dawood Ibrahim established his criminal empire in the 1990s. From minor crimes to drug trafficking, extortion, and targeted killings, Bishnoi has followed a similar trajectory, now controlling a vast network across northern India.
700+ Shooters in Bishnoi Gang
NIA reveals that Bishnoi’s gang boasts over 700 shooters, with 300 based in Punjab. The gang’s growth has been fueled by social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, which promote their image. Their empire, extending to 11 Indian states and 6 countries, has earned crores through extortion, with funds being transferred abroad via hawala channels.
Expansion to Global Network
What was once limited to Punjab has now spread across northern India, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and more. Bishnoi’s network has even reached international territories like the USA, Azerbaijan, Portugal, UAE, and Russia.
Luring Youth with False Promises
NIA highlights how the gang recruits youth by offering them the false promise of foreign visas to places like Canada. Pakistani-based Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda is also said to be using Bishnoi’s shooters for targeted killings and other criminal activities in Punjab.

Goldy Brar manages operations in Canada, Punjab, and Delhi, while Rohit Godara oversees Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Anmol Bishnoi commands operations across Portugal, America, and Delhi NCR, while Kala Jethri handles the gang’s activities in Haryana and Uttarakhand.
