ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ‘ਚ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ‘ਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਾਏ ਜੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ 7ਵੀਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੱਟ ਲੱਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਕਤ ਔਰਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਆਈ ਸੀ।
ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਸਾਢੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਾਏ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਵੀਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ‘ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਈ।
ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਔਰਤ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡਿੱਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਥਪੱਥ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਵਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਕਰੀਬ 25 ਸਾਲ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9.30 ਵਜੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਆਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਾਏ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਵੀਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੱਗੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਸੀ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲੜਕੀ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ‘ਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਛਾਣ ਲਈ ਮੁਰਦਾਘਰ ‘ਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਔਰਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।
In Amritsar, Punjab, a woman reportedly jumped from the 7th floor of the Baba Atal Rai Ji Gurdwara located within the Harmandir Sahib complex. The impact led to severe head injuries, resulting in her death on the spot.
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and local police are currently gathering details about the woman. She had reportedly come to pay her respects at Harmandir Sahib earlier this morning.
It is not confirmed whether she had completed her visit before heading up to the 7th floor of Baba Atal Rai Ji Gurdwara around 9:30 a.m., from where she jumped. Upon hitting the ground, she sustained fatal injuries and was found covered in blood.
According to Harmandir Sahib manager Vikram Singh, the woman was around 25 years old. CCTV footage from inside Harmandir Sahib will be reviewed to ascertain whether she came alone or was accompanied by someone.
Police officials reached the scene and took her body into custody for investigation. Her identity remains unknown, as does her place of origin and whether she was alone or with someone. The body has been sent for post-mortem and will be kept in the morgue for identification.
The SGPC informed the police immediately upon discovering the incident. Further analysis of CCTV footage within the complex will help in gathering more information about the woman and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
