ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ ਕੇ ਏ ਐਮ (ਗੈਰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ 2 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੱਡਾ ਐਲਾਨ, 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ
16/11/2024 ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਮੋਰਚਾ (ਭਾਰਤ) ਅਤੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚਾ (ਗੈਰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ) ਦੀਆਂ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਬਾਡਰ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਤੇ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਕਦਮ ਨਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ । ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਬੈਠਾਂਗੇ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 26 ਤਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਫੋਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਹਾਜ਼ਿਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਅਨਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਗੇ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਅਗਰ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਾਨ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਸੂਰਵਾਰ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਥਿੱਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗਲੇ ਆਗੂ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਜਾਣਾਕਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ 18 ਨੂੰ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਫੋਰਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ , ਪਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜ਼ੋ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਉਸਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਖਾਦ ਦੇ ਰੇਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਹੇਰਾਫੇਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ 1350/- ਰੁਪਏ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੋਰੀ 1750 ਤੱਕ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ 17 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਬਾਡਰ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਜਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ, ਸਰਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ, ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੰਗੂ, ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੌਂਗੋਵਾਲ, ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਲਖ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ, ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੂਲ, ਸੁਖਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰਦੋਝੰਡੇ, ਤੇਜਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਜੋਖਰਾ ਸਾਬ੍ਹ , ਗੁਰਅਮਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਂਗਟ, ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੇਹਰਾਮਕੇ, ਜੰਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਤੇੜੀ, ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਠ, ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ, ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਲਖ, ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਆਗੂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
On November 16, 2024, a joint press conference was held at the Kisan Bhawan in Chandigarh by the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (India) and Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political). They announced that in response to the government’s apathy towards their demands, Jagjit Singh Dallewal would begin an indefinite hunger strike at the Khanauri Border Morcha starting November 26. Dallewal stated that he is ready to sacrifice his life to press for the demands ignored by the government.
Sarwan Singh Pandher added that the leadership of both forums would be present on November 26 to initiate Dallewal’s hunger strike. The leaders warned that if Dallewal were to lose his life during this strike, the central and state governments would be held responsible. They also announced that in such a situation, the next leader would continue the hunger strike. Further announcements will be made during another press conference on November 18 at Kisan Bhawan.
The leaders criticized the government, saying that despite claiming the continuation of Minimum Support Price (MSP), farmers are facing severe deductions in the rates and weights of their crops in the mandis. Additionally, fertilizer prices have skyrocketed, with bags previously priced at ₹1,350 now being sold for ₹1,750.
The press conference also revealed plans to observe Guru Nanak Sahib Ji’s Prakash Purab on November 17 at the Khanauri Border, where Akhand Path Sahib Bhog and a Kirtan Darbar will take place. Farmers and supporters were urged to join in large numbers.
Prominent leaders present at the event included Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Sarwan Singh Pandher, Gurinder Singh Bhangu, Jaswinder Singh Longowal, Lakhwinder Singh Aulakh (Haryana), Surjit Singh Phool, Sukhjeet Singh Hardo Jhanday, Tejvir Singh Panjokhra Sahib, Guramneet Singh Mangat, Balwant Singh Behramke, Jang Singh Bhateri, Manpreet Singh Bath, Surinder Singh Mohali, Darshan Singh Aulakh, and Harjeet Singh Patiala.
