ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਵੇਟਾ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੇੜੇ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕਾ, ਦਰਜਨਾਂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸ਼ੰਕਾ
ਕਰਾਚੀ: ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਲੋਚਿਸਤਾਨ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਵੇਟਾ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਜਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਲਗਭਗ 30 ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕ ਘਾਇਲ ਦੱਸੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਧਮਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਧਣ ਦਾ ਖਤਰਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਨਾਜੁਕ ਹੈ। ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਅਦ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਐਲਾਨੀ ਗਈ
ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਬਚਾਅ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਕਵੇਟਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਡਿਊਟੀ ‘ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਰੇਲਵੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਾਫਰ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਰੇਲਗੱਡੀ ਜੋ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਪੇਸ਼ਾਵਰ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਠੀਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੀ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ‘ਤੇ
ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਵੇਟਾ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਈ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ‘ਤੇ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲਾ ਮਜੀਦ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਘਾਤੀ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਬੁਕਿੰਗ ਦਫਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਆਮ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ‘ਤੇ ਭੀੜ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਾਨੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ
ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੱਛਮੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਈ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਵਾਇਦਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਬਲੋਚਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੈਬਰ ਪਖਤੂਨਖਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਦੱਖਣੀ ਵਜ਼ੀਰਿਸਤਾਨ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵੱਧਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

Pakistan Rocked by Bomb Blasts: Dozens Dead and Injured in Quetta Railway Station Attack
Islamabad: Pakistan was shaken by a series of deadly bomb blasts on Saturday morning, leaving dozens dead and many more injured. The blasts occurred near Quetta Railway Station in the northwestern province of Balochistan. Reports indicate that several people lost their lives, with approximately 30 others injured. Authorities fear the death toll could rise as many of the victims include women and children.
Emergency response teams swiftly reached the scene, with heavy police deployment to secure the area. Following the explosion, Quetta’s Civil Hospital declared an emergency, mobilizing doctors and paramedics to attend to the wounded. According to railway officials, the Jaffar Express was scheduled to depart for Peshawar at 9:00 a.m. when the attack took place.
Railway Station Was a Known Target for Militants
Sources reveal that Quetta Railway Station had been on the radar of militant groups for several days. The attack is reported to have been carried out by a suicide bomber associated with the Majeed Brigade, a faction of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). Pakistani news channels reported that the explosion occurred at the station’s booking office just before the train was set to arrive at the platform, leading to high casualties due to the typically large crowd at the station.
Ongoing Terror and Separatist Challenges in Pakistan
Pakistan has been grappling with increasing militant attacks in its northwest and rising separatist unrest in its southern regions. Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Muhammad Baloch stated, “The explosion occurred inside the railway station as the Peshawar-bound express was preparing to depart.”
In a related incident in northwestern Pakistan, a roadside bomb exploded near a vehicle carrying security personnel, killing four officers and injuring five others. Local police official Dilawar Khan reported that the explosion took place in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday.
