ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ (ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲਸਾ):- ਪੰਖੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਪੌਲੀਕੇਬ ਨੇ ਗਾਜੀਆਬਾਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਪਲੇਸ ਤੇ ਪੰਖੇ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੋਰਡਿੰਗ ਲਗਾਏ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਇਤਰਾਜਯੋਗ ਫੋਟੋ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ । ਹੋਰਡਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਦਾ ਦਾਹੜਾ ਅੱਧਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਧਾ ਫੋਟੋ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਪਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ “ਏਕਦਮ ਸੁਪਰਫਾਸਟ ਹਵਾ”। ਗਾਜੀਆਬਾਦ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਦੋ ਇਹ ਹੋਰਡਿੰਗ ਦੇਖੇ ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਉਪਰ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਣ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਜਦੋ ਇਸ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਫੋਟੋਆਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੀਆਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪੰਥਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਨੀਨਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੀਕੇਬ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਗਾੜਨ, ਪੰਥ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਲਵਾੜ ਕਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਡਿੰਗ ਉੱਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਅਗੇ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਮੁਆਫੀ ਮੰਗਣ ਲਈ ਨੌਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਉਚਿਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ, ਸਿੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਣਕਟੇ ਵਾਲ, ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਛਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦਸਤਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਦਸਤਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ, ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਈਸ਼ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੀਲਿੰਗ ਫੈਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਹੋਰਡਿੰਗਾਂ, ਪੋਸਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਉਪਰੋ ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਸਤਾਰਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਟਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੇਜ਼ ਕਰੋ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫਲ ਰਹਿਣ ‘ਤੇ, ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਟੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਤਰਫੋਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਸਿਵਲ ਅਤੇ ਫੌਜਦਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ। ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਿਆ ਸੰਹਿਤਾ ਐਕਟ 2023 ਦੇ ਸੈਕਸ਼ਨ 298 ਅਤੇ 299 ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਤੱਕ ਸੀਮਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਉਪਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਡਾ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ।

New Delhi (Manpreet Singh Khalsa) – Fan manufacturing company Polycab has placed large billboards in Ghaziabad for fan advertisements, featuring a controversial image of a Sikh man. The billboard displays a Sikh with his beard partially inside and partially outside the frame, accompanied by the slogan “Extremely Fast Air.” Observing the billboard, local Sikhs voiced concerns and sought action. When these images reached the press, prominent Sikh advocate Nina Singh took immediate notice and issued a legal notice to Polycab. She demanded that the company remove the offensive advertisement, apologize in writing to the Akal Takht, and cease using depictions that mock Sikh appearance and religious sentiments.
The notice states that, unlike others, Sikhs maintain their appearance as created by God, with uncut hair and beard. Dishonoring the turban and beard is deeply disrespectful to the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, equating to blasphemy. This act has seriously hurt the religious sentiments of Sikhs.
The notice instructs Polycab to remove all advertisements featuring Sikhs from public billboards, posters, and social media within two days. Failure to comply will compel legal action on behalf of advocates and the Sikh community, under Indian Penal Code Sections 298 and 299, which impose penalties for intentional religious offenses. Additionally, Polycab is urged to issue an unconditional public apology in writing to the Akal Takht Sahib and SGPC, pledging to avoid future advertisements that could offend religious sentiments.
