ਚੌਕ ਮਹਿਤਾ1ਅਕਤੂਬਰ( ਬਾਬਾ ਸੁਖਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨਣਕੇ ) ਰੋਟਰੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕੈਂਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਐਨ.ਡਾ. ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਐਨ. ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮਣਾ ਖੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਘੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਭਾਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਅਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ: ਮ੍ਰਿਦੁਲਾ ਮਹਾਜਨ, ਡਾ: ਜਤਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਾ: ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸੋਹੀ, ਡਾ: ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸਰੀਨ, ਡਾ: ਸੰਦੀਪ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੋਨੀਆ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ: ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਹੁੰਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੋਨੀਆ ਸਹਿਦੇਵ ਸਮੇਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਸਨਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਡਾ: ਸੰਤੋਖ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਅਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਸਵਾਰਥ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਜ਼ਰਬੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਗਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੋਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਡਾ: ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸੋਹੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੋਨੀਆ ਸਹਿਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਜ਼ੋਨਲ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਐਚ.ਐਸ.ਜੋਗੀ, ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਐਨ ਡਾ.ਸ਼ਾਲੂ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ, ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਐਨ.ਡਾ. ਜੇ.ਐਸ. ਗੁੰਬਰ, ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਐਨ.ਡਾ. ਬੇਰੀ, ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਐਨ.ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਕਪਿਲਾ, ਆਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਰੋਟਰੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
Teacher’s Day Celebrated by Rotary Club Amritsar Cantt
Chowk Mahita, October 1 (Baba Sukhwant Singh Channan) – The Rotary Club Amritsar Cantt celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm under the leadership of President R.T.N. Amarjeet Singh Sachdeva and Secretary R.T.N. Prabhjot Kaur. The event honored teachers who have made significant contributions in various fields, acknowledging their vital role in shaping society and nurturing the future generation.
Notable personalities such as Dr. Mridula Mahajan, Dr. Jatinder Singh, Dr. Darshan Sohi, Dr. Ashwani Sareen, Dr. Sandeep, Mrs. Sonia Sharma, Dr. Parminder Hundal, and Mrs. Sonia Sahidev were recognized during the ceremony. Each awardee was honored with accolades that acknowledged their excellence and dedication in their respective fields.
As the chief guest, Dr. Santokh Singh expressed profound respect for the role of teachers in building society. In his address, he emphasized the need to recognize and appreciate the hard work and selfless contributions of educators. Each honored teacher shared their experiences, provided insights into their various fields, and discussed the challenges and rewards of their profession. Their stories reflected the deep impact teachers have on both their personal lives and society as a whole.
A special highlight of the event was the induction of three new members: Dr. Darshan Sohi, Mrs. Vandana, and Mrs. Sonia Sahidev. The occasion was also attended by Zonal Chairman H.S. Jogi, Assistant Governor R.T.N. Dr. Shalu Agarwal, R.T.N. J.S. Gumber, R.T.N. Berry, and R.T.N. Rajesh Kapila.
