ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ : ਸਿੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਲੇਖਕ ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਏ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਮੀ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਸਹਿਤ ਦਸ-ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ, ਪੋਤਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਯੂਥ ਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਰਸਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਰਫਕੇ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਭਾਈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਗਿਆੜਾ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਤਰੀ ਬੀਬੀ ਸੁਖਰਾਜ ਕੌਰ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਲੇਰਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੁਗਲਵਾਲਾ ਦੀ ਸੁਪਤਨੀ ਬੀਬੀ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿੱਕੂ (ਖਡਿਆਲਾ ਸੈਣੀਆਂ) ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਦਸ-ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਨਗਦ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ ਜੋ 13 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1978 ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ‘ਚ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਨਕਲੀ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਗੋਲ਼ੀਆਂ ਵੱਜਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦਾ ਜਾਮ ਪੀ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ‘ਚ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਅਰੰਭ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ-ਸਿੰਘਣੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੂਝ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਮ ਪੀਤੇ। ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਤਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਈ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਹਲਾਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂੰ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਰਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਏ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਮੀ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰੇ ਹੀ ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਝੋਲੀ ‘ਚ ਪਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੌਖਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਰਬੱਤ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੰਥਕ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਸਮਝਦਿਆਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਸਾਰ ਲੈਣ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਰ ਬਣਾਂਗੇ।
Shaheed Baba Avtar Singh Kural’s Family Supports Families of Five Martyrs
Amritsar, 30 September: Sikh preacher and panthic writer Bhai Ranjit Singh, after reading the books “Tawariq Shaheed-e-Khalistan,” authored by Damdami Taksal, presented financial assistance of ₹10,000 each to the families of five martyrs on behalf of Shaheed Baba Avtar Singh Kural’s family.
Bhai Harbhajan Singh Kural, the son of Shaheed Baba Avtar Singh Kural, along with grandson Bhai Tejinder Singh Kural and Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal, president of the Sikh Youth Federation, provided support to the families of martyrs Bhai Nirmal Singh, son of Shaheed Bhai Rasala Singh Arfke; Bibi Sukharaj Kaur, daughter of Shaheed Bhai Satnam Singh Changiara; Bhai Harpal Singh, son of Shaheed Bhai Amritpal Singh Dalera; Bibi Kulwinder Kaur, wife of Shaheed Bhai Parmjeet Singh Tughlawala; and Bhai Gurnam Singh, brother of Shaheed Bhai Satwinder Singh Niku (Khadiyala Sainiya).
It is noteworthy that Shaheed Baba Avtar Singh Kural was martyred on April 13, 1978, during the fake Nirankari incident in Sri Amritsar, while striving to restore respect for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This incident sparked a significant struggle led by Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala, as many singhs and singhanis sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the community.
Bhai Ranjit Singh expressed gratitude to Bhai Harbhajan Singh and Bhai Tejinder Singh for their support and shared thoughts on the Sikh struggle, as well as information regarding the economic conditions of the martyrs’ families. Bhai Harbhajan Singh praised the writings of Bhai Ranjit Singh, acknowledging the immense contribution of his historical accounts to the community.
He urged all Sangat members to fulfill their panthic duties and support the families of martyrs according to their capacity, emphasizing that this would make them deserving of the martyrs’ happiness.
